2003 Mid-Winters Championship

As I write this it is 4 degrees outside here in Connecticut with a major snow storm forecast for tomorrow (Presidents Day). This winter has been a bitch here in the Northeast but I can console myself with the thought that in less than three weeks I will be heading south to bask in the warmth of the sun in Clearwater Florida for the JY Midwinters.   It should be a terrific time with over 35 boats already registered to compete including some of the top talent in the class. The regatta the year will be held at a first class resort and JY Sailboats is pulling out all the stops to host the event.

All I can say is if you haven't registered to be there, you'll just have to wait for my March e-news which will feature all the photos of us partying it up on the warm southern beaches while you freeze your $#@! off up North. (Sorry ... don't mean to get carried away rubbing it in but you had your chance,,,,)

2003 Regatta

The 2003 season is getting underway with many events already scheduled. The regattas with a question mark in the schedule below are still tentative on dates. I will provide updates in the e-news each month. Please let me know of any others that I missed.

You will note that most regattas have a hyperlink to the sponsoring yacht club. In this way, you can simply post your notice of race and racing instructions on your own club web page and we'll be all set to go! If you can't get this done because of some recalcitrant webmaster, please let me know (or the JYCA webmaster, John Amendola) and we will post your notice on the JYCA website linked to the regatta schedule).
